Humanitarian Story Circle (HSC)

Regional Humanitarian Partnership Week (RHPW)

As ADRRN’s Storytelling Hub, WRI launched the Humanitarian Story Circle at RHPW 2025, in partnership with ADRRN’s Quality and Accountability Hub led by Community World Service Asia. The showcase drew 400+ attendees and featured 9 storytellers from Asia-Pacific region selected out of 115+ submissions from 15+ countries.

Empowerfest 3.0, Shillong

WRI participated as a panelist at Empowerfest 3.0, organised by the Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (CPwD) in collaboration with the State Resource Centre on Disability Affairs (SRCDA), contributing to discussions on inclusive arts education.

ClimaFii Initiative Video Series

To document the ClimaFii Initiative under Upaya Social Ventures, WRI created a video series documenting climate action at scale, profiling 10 organisations across electric mobility, decentralised renewable energy.

DiSSC Workshops

In 2025, DiSSC conducted 10 workshops reaching 300+ participants across 22+ countries, including Humanitarian Story Circle workshops held online, community-based trainings for women and adolescents in Dehradun, and with the Centre for Disaster Preparedness (CDP), Manila.

Coolest Projects India

We collaborated with the UK-based Raspberry Pi Foundation to organise the first-ever in-person Coolest Projects India event in Hyderabad. The technology showcase for students has previously been organised in the USA, UK, Ireland, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries.
