It is the non-profit arm of Words Rhythms Images (WRI), created to expand access to inclusive, creative education for marginalised communities, including people with disabilities, sexual minorities, women, and youth.
Drawing on WRI’s experience in communication and capacity-building, Write Initiatives uses storytelling, the arts, and digital media to foster critical thinking, build skills, and empower individuals to become agents of change in their own communities.
Through workshops, mentorships, community projects, and public showcases, it aims to challenge systemic barriers and promote a more empathetic, equitable society.
