Voices of Appreciation

In their own words

The films that the words rhythms images created for us didn’t just document our work—they brought its soul to life. They captured the heart of grassroots gender justice with nuance, giving our work the visibility and depth it truly deserved. Their thoughtful engagement and innovative storytelling have helped our girls from employability enhancement program envision new possibilities and see themselves as change makers. We deeply cherish this partnership and look forward to creating more meaningful impact together.

The innovative idea behind WRI’s Digital Storytellers for Social Change workshop deserves the most credit, and was a great opportunity for us. Empowering PwDs to tell their stories in the 21st Century way, is a positive tool for strengthening their self-esteem, and we should have even more storytellers today. The facilitation was highly professional and flexible considering the nature and background of many of our participants.

Ajay and his team did a great job with the video we requested. He understood our ideas and purpose clearly. His inputs and suggestions were instrumental in making the final product exactly what we were looking for. The turnaround time for the whole project was quite quick, and the rates charged were very reasonable. 100% would recommend.

Words. Rhythms. Images shot and edited a 7-minute demo for us. We were happy with the way the crew pulled everything together on a tight deadline and with minimal supervision.

Making a film in Kashmir about the conditions in orphanages in the State is not an easy subject. Ajay Govind’s treatment of a sensitive subject set in a fragile environment was humane. He captured the problem well and highlighted the community-based measures that provide the solution to the question of care of children orphaned by the conflict.

Ajay Govind recently created three show reels and an outreach film for Sesame Workshop India. These films beautifully capture the ingenuity and energy of our flagship program Galli Galli Sim Sim and the impact of our outreach work.

One of the show reels is designed to be a part of a presentation at the upcoming TED INDIA conference and promises to add value to our presence at this prestigious event.
