Making a film in Kashmir about the conditions in orphanages in the State is not an easy subject. Ajay Govind’s treatment of a sensitive subject set in a fragile environment was humane. He captured the problem well and highlighted the community-based measures that provide the solution to the question of care of children orphaned by the conflict.
